10 Paddington St, Marylebone, London, W1U 5QL

Because of its dependence on local lots of delicious small plates to share and ingredients, British restaurants can struggle to do justice to Greek cuisine. However, this chic spot manages to combine an urban dining experience with authentic flavours. Paper tablecloths and perfectly cooked snails with smoky lardons will transport you to whitewashed tavernas, while feta is barrel-aged on site. Salmon fillet in squid ink brioche may be more central London than Cyclades, but it works well with the sophisticated interiors and moody lighting. Cocktails lack subtlety but the wine list is a really impressive showcase of new and old Greek talent. IL.
