Rum Kitchen

1st Floor, Kingly Court, Carnaby St, London W1B 5PW

If you’re after a little Caribbean-themed escapism, this Soho joint is ideal. Classic reggae hums out of the speakers, every other dish on the menu features jerk and heady rum cocktails contribute to the buzzy atmosphere. A dollop of hoisin mayo is an unexpected bonus in the chicken burger, while watermelon pickle makes a juicy partner to pork ribs glazed with sticky barbecue sauce. The side game is particularly strong: sweet potato wedges sprinkled with salt crystals, crisped over charcoal and served with a generous scoop of creamy avocado will have you going back for more.
