Grilled black bream

Ingredients

  • 4 black or gilt-head bream, gutted, cleaned and scales removed

To serve

  • ½cm piece of ginger, peeled and grated
  • 40ml soy sauce
  • 10ml sake

Method

Wash the fish. Cut a large cross on both sides of the fish to help it cook inside. Dampen your hands and pat salt all over the fish. Grill on both sides until well cooked. Mix together ginger, soy sauce and sake and serve with fish.
