With a patio and view of the River Dee, this laid-back locals’ spot has an open grill where you can watch your meal being cooked. The slow-smoked wings (as well as the ‘suicide’-spiced variety) are a favourite, but other yummy starters include smoked beef brisket, and maple-glazed sticky baby back ribs. Follow up with an assortment of ribs or pulled pork, served with smoked-bacon-studded beans or coleslaw. Desserts stick closely to the US theme and include the likes of super-sized red-velvet cupcake, Mississippi mud pie, or table-toasted marshmallows. AEM.
