Trishna in Mumbai is widely considered to be one of the world’s best seafood restaurants, but it’s a long way to go for dinner. Luckily its sister restaurant is in London, and specialises in the coastal cuisine of south-west India. Begin with crispy squid lightly tossed in flour and deep-fried with fiery red and green chillies or duck seekh kebab and pineapple chutney. Follow with market fish curry – full of intense coconut flavour and brown pepper crab: buttery, clean and delicious and perfect with naan. Don’t miss the coast lamb curry and lemon rice, either.
