Cambridge Beaches Hotel

Bermuda

Beaches remains one of the last signature cottage-style hotels on Bermuda. Yet interiors unite a rustic style with a modern and fresh feel, largely thanks to a recent redesign from Dovetail + Co (of Urban Cowboy Lodge), Kellyann Hee (Soho House) and Parisian architecture studio Saint-Lazare. Included in the overhaul is an all-salmon-hued facade and a New York-style cocktail bar, where sipping long rum drinks is encouraged. Situated on the waterfront, on a 9ha peninsula on the island’s western front, sun-seekers will favour the waterfront views and outdoor areas assigned to each room. And, when you venture outwards, you’ll find no shortage of beaches – in fact, there are four private sands to pick from including the appropriately named Turtle Cove, and if you’re lucky you’ll spot the creatures beneath the glistening sea. Elsewhere, days are best spent poolside, at the spa or at Bermuda’s only on-site Water Sports Marina.
