Wallowing in the adriatic sea, the island of Korcula has magnificent medieval walls, beautiful beaches and terracotta houses. this Croatian isle is a secret best kept to oneself. it is here, hidden in the picturesque old town, that you’ll find lesic Dimitri Palace. the hotel occupies an 18th-century bishop’s palace along with five adjoining medieval cottages. according to local tales, the explorer Marco Polo was born in Korcula and each of the Palace’s six residences are inspired by a place along the Silk road.
