Helmsley is a tiny town, but that hasn’t stopped the Black Swan from becoming a recognised gourmet destination – interesting flavour combinations are created from the freshest ingredients available, most sourced from within 30 miles of the hotel. Turbot and lobster are lifted by a springy pea mash, while juicy pork belly provides a suitably decadent feast; zesty lemon tart is a perfect palate-cleansing finale.
