Lincolnshire
Situated in the bustling market town of Horncastle, this family-run business has gone from strength to strength since it first opened its doors in 1969; today the business consists of a bakery, tearoom and very popular deli. A wide selection of bread is freshly baked on the premises every day, including Mediterranean loaf, granary and wholemeal varieties, as well as sweet pastries, chocolate éclairs, doughnuts and fresh cream cakes. The cheese counter is brimming with more than 50 varieties of both local and regional cheeses and bestsellers include Lincolnshire Dambuster, Cotehill Blue and Lincolnshire Poacher. Pick up a jar of Aunty Mandy’s famous red onion marmalade made in the deli’s kitchen; it’s a real winner with customers. Myers also stock a range of regional and local foods including curry paste from Mr Huda’s, exceptional pork pies made from Berkshire and Gloucester Old Spot pork by FC Phipps butcher of Mareham-le-Fen; Lincolnshire sausages from Boston and refreshing cordials from Belvoir fruit farms including elderflower or ginger. For a real taste of Lincoln, try a generous slice of Myers’ award-winning Lincolnshire Plum Loaf – we promise you won’t be disappointed.
