Dairy-free orange creamsicles

Makes 10 Desserts and puddings

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and chopped
  • freshly squeezed juice 3 oranges (around 250ml), sieved
  • 1⁄4 ripe avocado, pitted and peeled
  • 250ml coconut or almond milk
  • few drops natural vanilla extract
  • 10 small popsicle moulds and sticks

Method

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blitz until smooth. Transfer to a jug and divide the mixture evenly between the moulds.

Add the sticks in an upright position at this stage, or freeze first for a while until the mixture is firm enough to hold the sticks straight. Freeze for 4-6 hours until frozen.

When you are ready to serve, dip the moulds into hot water for a second or two, then gently pull out the popsicles.
