Toss together all the melon and tomato pieces with the oil, vinegar and chives in a serving dish. Season well with pepper.
Gently mix in the feta cheese and serve at once.
For a variation, you could follow the instructions as above, but replace the feta with 50g blue cheese, such as Stilton or Gorgonzola, crumbled into pieces; then stir in 3 slices of shredded Parma ham and serve at once.
