Dainty plates aren’t what you’d expect with Caribbean cuisine but that’s what you get at the newly launched Cottons. Bright, jaunty interiors are the backdrop to neat dishes such as monk cheek accra scattered with edible flowers. Succulent honey and guava-glazed chicken chow comes infused with spiced rum and decorated with a shard of salty, crisp skin, and fragrant herbs and spices are well- balanced in the Guyanese beef pepper pot. Ease the heat with bottles of Banks beer, a local Bajan brew. Groups are best sharing a few smaller plates to experience the full gamut of flavours and sides.
