Brothers Sam and Eddie Hart – owners of Quo Vadis and Barrafina – are at it again, this time turning their attention to Mexican food. Housed under a railway arch, El Pastór serves up all manner of authentic corn tortilla tacos on long communal tables. We love its namesake – a rich and salty pork shoulder that’s marinated for 24 hours and offset with caramelised chunks of pineapple. Order it alongside chargrilled stone bass tacos and a side of stewed pinto beans. Wash it down with a Mexican beer michelada style – served in a glass with spiced lime juice and a salted rim.
