Port Isaac
Wonky walls, low-beamed ceilings and prime harbourside views set the
scene for Nathan Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen. A casual edition to his empire, the relaxed
ambience is replicated in the tapas-style,
seafood small plates on offer. A backbone
of eight dishes dictated by the local
fishermen’s catch nets the likes of ling
tempura doused in racy chili jam and
thinly sliced, fresh-as-can-be salmon. The dress code is very much flip-flops and fishing boots, but the food is
of the same superb standard we’ve come
to expect from the celebrated chef.
