54 Shore, Edinburgh EH6 6RA
Located in the historic Port of Leith, Martin Wishart opened its doors in 1999 and it wasn’t long before its Scottish take on French favourites earned a Michelin star. The menu reflects the high-class tutorship that owner and head chef Martin Wishart received at the hands of Albert Roux. Opt for local flavours such as freshly dived Orkney scallops or glazed John Dory with lemon, spinach and artichokes, followed by the crunch of a sablé biscuit topped with tangy mango sorbet. Pick from an extensive wine list and finish the evening with a saunter around the port.
