While the north Kent coast draws trendy London types for practical reasons, the stretch of coast to the south, just into East Sussex, is far prettier.Having lacked culinary attention, that’s where Harry’s at The Gallivant, near Rye and stunning Camber Sands, comes in. Ex-Bibendum MatthewHarris has the keys to the kitchen, and the food is what you want after a bracing walk: well-chosen ingredients by a chef who knows his onions (and curried mussels and rabbit legs with smoked bacon). It should bring the visitors in (but not too many, please).
