Noisy Old Compton Street fades into the background as you enter Bobby Chinn’s casual Vietnamese restaurant. The style is ‘banquet’ so prepare for the dishes to pile up on your table. Start with the basics: imperial rolls stuffed with pork and mushrooms; move on to fresh, zingy flavours like warm duck and banana blossom salad with chilli vinaigrette; and do have the smoky grilled octopus with black pepper and kumquat.
