At the legendary Daylesford operation
there’s a new spot to enjoy all the flavours
of the organic farm. The Legbar – named
after one of their rare-breed hens – is an
extension to The Trough. Carefully curated
small dishes and knockout cocktails are a fine way to start: our turmeric houmous,
served with tasty crudités, is as bright as
sunshine. A flavourful plate of salt-baked
beetroot, salsa verde and kimchi follows,
then crispy pork belly – the raw ingredient
coming from the surrounding pastures.
Be sure to leave room for the dark
chocolate nemesis – a rich, fitting way
to round things off.
