Almalusa Alfama, Portugal Hotel

Portugal

The evergreen city of Lisbon keeps on delivering. AlmaLusa Alfama has recently opened against the backdrop of the Campo das Cebolas in one of the oldest neighbourhoods. The brand’s third property – in a building that dates back to the 12th century and set out in Pombaline architectural style – pays tribute to Lisbon’s rich history and culture, each of the 25 homely rooms displaying a modern interpretation of traditional local style. Small plates of petiscos and local wine are served in the whitewashed Delfina, and stays come with access to a smartphone preloaded with apps that showcase the city’s hidden gems and curated walking route.
