After making a splash in Paris, design-forward Brach (part of the Evok Collection) have set their sights on Madrid, bringing their signature Philippe Starck interior to Brach Madrid this month. Channelling the warmth and carefree spirit of Spanish living, rich sepia tones are amplified with wood panelling, leather, pottery and wickerwork. Plant-filled terraces complete the picture, while heavy Picasso and Dalí books add a homely touch throughout the 57-key hotel. The Twenties building on one of the city’s most well-known streets has surely served as inspiration for the restaurant, where chef Adam Bentalha works his magic with Mediterranean flavours, and the spa dials up the luxe further still.
