Dubai
Of the five standalone hotels that
comprise Jumeirah’s sprawling
coastal complex – a 25-minute hop
from Dubai airport – Al Naseem is
perhaps the most contemporary.
The lush gardens, large pools and
alfresco bar may scream ‘beach
holiday’, but within, a chic haven is
revealed. It’s a balance of muted
colourways, soft edges and huge
bathrooms with thoughtful touches.
Many offer views of the Arabian
Gulf and sail-shaped Burj al Arab.
By day, you can hit up Summersalt
Beach Club next door for Med-
leaning lunches and lounging
(alternatives include an excellent
Greek restaurant and seafood-
focused Rockfish), try your hand at
tennis or indulge at the sprawling
Talise Spa. It’s a destination in its
own right with stunning grounds,
cosy relaxation areas and standout
treatments in private villas.
Whether travelling as a family or a
couple, you’re well-served here. Doubles from £337.
