An evergreen destination for sun-seekers, Palma has added to its hotel hotlist with Miramar Mallorca, a private, nine-bedroom mansion with a plum spot on the seafront. Flinging its doors open mid-autumn, it’s a choice pick for those travelling in larger groups. It’s the latest addition to Vestige’s portfolio – a group becoming renowned for restoring age-old buildings into luxury places to stay. Miramar will be no exception. The 18th-century mansion has been uplifted, with light-filled spaces pared back, while period glamour lives on courtesy of marble pillars, chandeliers and antique artwork. Covering 1700sq m, there will be plenty of space for everyone and between these four walls a library, indoor pool and home cinema have been woven into the floorplan.
