Sustainable, community-driven resort group Our Habitas are expanding their stable this spring with Our Habitas Mazunte in the Mexican state of Oaxaca. Amid a jungle canopy overlooking the big blue beyond, the immersive hideaway features 28 rooms, a wellness centre grounded in ancient therapies, pool, yoga shala and restaurant – Nima – highlighting local produce and wood-fired dishes. Aesthetics-wise, think muted, modern, relaxed and all-natural. Off-site, surfing, snorkelling, hiking and small beach towns are in the offing. Following the same mantra, April will also see the reveal of Our Habitas Santa Teresa on Costa Rica’s southernmost tip. Alongside 45 low-impact rooms will be ten luxury tents amid coastal greener.
