After all that paddling, appetites are easily satisfied back at base, where you’ll find the focus on local and organic ingredients, with vegetables sourced from nearby
farms and fish fresh from the shore. Head to Le 27 for Moroccan flavours and plentiful vegetarian offerings. Evenings are best spent sipping cocktails at the fire pit before retreating to your laid-back beach-chic suite, bungalow or villa, each decorated with touches of traditional Moroccan design and featuring sun-trapped terraces.

Panoramic ocean views mean finding a spot to watch the sun rise is never going to be difficult, but with ceiling-to-floor windows, the yoga studio is a stellar choice. Join resident yoga guru Kroll Karsten for a memorable sunrise class to perfect your vinyasa.

The eco-spa will leave couples harmonised during a candle-lit hammam, using locally-harvested orange blossom, argan oil and eucalyptus. Bringing little ones? They’ll be entertained all week at the kids’ club and pool, so the whole family will come back feeling renewed.
